Construction Superintendent / Project Manager

  • Cell phone reimbursement: $50/month for required business use of a personal phone.

    Company vehicle: This position is eligible for a company truck after successful completion of a 90-day introductory period, subject to an acceptable driving record, insurance eligibility, business need, and Company vehicle policy.

    Reliable transportation to job sites is required.

    Confident Clarity Construction is looking for a field leader who can take ownership of the day-to-day operation of a project and keep the work moving safely, efficiently, and correctly.

    • Run day-to-day field operations

    • Plan and sequence work for crews and subcontractors

    • Review plans, layout, elevations, and field conditions

    • Coordinate manpower, materials, and equipment

    • Keep projects moving without sacrificing safety or quality

    • Catch problems early and help develop practical solutions

    • Communicate with clients, GCs, inspectors, subcontractors, and company leadership

    • Maintain daily job documentation and project information

    • Help protect schedule, cost, and quality through completion

    This is not primarily a labor position, but it is also not a sit-in-the-truck role. Our Superintendents are expected to stay engaged in the work, understand what is happening in the field, and step in when the job needs them.

    • Strong construction experience

    • Good understanding of how work is built and sequenced

    • Able to lead crews and communicate clearly

    • Organized, dependable, and able to think ahead

    • Comfortable making day-to-day field decisions

    • Able to identify problems and bring forward solutions

    • Takes ownership of quality, safety, schedule, and the finished product

    • Reliable transportation

    You do not need to already have “Superintendent” on your resume.

    We are open to an experienced Foreman, Assistant Superintendent, or field leader who has the judgment, communication skills, and ability to grow into the position.

Location: Chattanooga, TN (Various Job Sites)

Rate: $26-34/hour - Full-Time

Shift & Schedule: Est. 40 hours a week, some overtime at 1.5x base pay

Experience: 5+ years experience in construction preferred
